Enjoy the Little Things

Jenna Marie.  Super duper cute.  September 2011.  Used Paisley Park by Mary Moseley and Kraftsy Chic by Courtney VanSickle at DHD.

Know what I just noticed?  I'm typing this on April 5 and set up all the posts since then.  It's late.  Really late.  12:51 am to be exact.  With each post I type less and less.  Funny.  I'll read this post in 14 more days and think WTH was I thinking?!  LOL.

Laters....TFL.

Christmas Program 2010

McKenna's last Christmas program at Celestine Elementary!  I didn't really get many good pictures, but had to scrap it!  This is all Stampin' Up stuff again.  And it's a sketch, but can't remember from where.  Such a loser...sorry!!

Christmas Program 2010

Micah's 3rd grade Christmas program in 2010.  She was a little China girl and so freaking cute!!  I used all Stampin' Up stuff on this one.  This is a sketchabilities sketch from a while back.

New Laptops for Christmas!

Not your normal Christmas colors, but like I mentioned before, I think I kinda like scrapping like this.  Scrapping Christmas pics with Christmas paper and embellies is so boring!  This is from Christmas 2010 when Mara and Micah got their laptops.  And I have no idea where I got this paper (sorry!).

Make A Wish

Sweet little Avery's birthday party January 2012!  I used a birthday kit by Sara Schmutz from DHD.  Can you believe this little thing decided she didn't want to have a birthday party this year for her birthday?!  Seriously, what kind of child is my sister raising?  LOL!

Dream Big

This is the layout I created for the 4Play Challenge over at DHD!  If you haven't checked out the weekly 4Play at DHD, you really need to!  It's a great way to get some super cute items on the cheap!  And a shot at getting a $5 gift certificate to the store.  Gotta love free stuff!!

Pics are of my sweet little nephew, Asher.  Live, Love, Laugh papers by Imaginenation, Vintage Mail labels by Sara Schmutz, Fly Away With Me elements by Sarah Sullivan, Vanity Fair Cerulean Alpha by Jen Allyson.

I did not use the awesome alpha due to it not being in a format that works with My Digital Studio.  They are in a .psd which does not work in MDS.  There is also a .png but it has the alpha all on one sheet which also does not work in MDS.  Just some things to realize if you're purchasing digital elements outside of Stampin' Up.

Anyway...TFL!!

I'm walking on Sunshine

And, the 10th and final layout using the SSD collab kit.  My adorable niece, Jenna, again.  Couldn't resist using this kit for these pics of her as well.  These pics were taken April 2012.

100% Original You

OMG!  How stinkin' cute is this?!  Of course, my niece is precious, but these papers and embellies are amazing!  And, YES!  ANOTHER layout using that same SSD kit!  These pics of my sassy little niece were taken September 2011.

Sleeping Beauty

McKenna as Sleeping Beauty in "Lemonade" September 2011.  Love the cardboard paper the best, can you tell?!  Yes, I used the huge collab from SSD AGAIN!  The lemon is something I found on the internet.

Chicken Little

Yes, another 2 pager!  I was on a roll with these!  Maybe I'll start doing more of them?!  Pics are of Micah as Chicken Little in "Lemonade" September 2011.  She was so cute!!  Created using the huge collab at SSD again!  I told you I used the heck out of this kit and i wasn't kidding.

Little Old Lady Who Lived In A Shoe

Pics are from the short play "Lemonade" that Mara was in September 2011.  She was the Little Old Lady Who Lived In A Shoe and her costume was hilarious!  We sewed a bunch of baby dolls to her dress.  It was a hit!  Created using the huge collab kit at SSD.  Love that cardboard background, probably one of my fave papers from the kit.  The Little Old Lady and Lemonade pics are from the internet that I found, NOT from the kit.

Clownfish!

A 2 pager!  Not something I do very often.  Pictures of McKenna in the short play at the Ferdinand Folk Festival last September which was so cute!  This was created using the huge free collab from Sweet Shoppe Designs.  The clownfish is something I found on the internet.

Catfish

Pictures of the short play that Micah was in at the Ferdinand Folk Festival last September.  She was a Catfish that wanted to be a dogfish.  The play was adorable.  I created this using a huge collab kit from a facebook hop for Sweet Shoppe Designs.  The next several (actually, about 10 layouts!!) I'll be posting were all created using this free collab.  It was amazing!  And so full of color!  The catfish picture is something I found on the internet, NOT in the kit! LOL!

Phone App Fun!

Crazy girls!  Another layout that just makes me laugh!  The girls had taken my phone one evening after showers and had fun with one of the apps on my phone.

Created using the Just Sayin' collab kit by Sarah Sullivan and Tayler Mitchell at DHD.

You Have Been Quoted

This layout makes me smile every time I look at it!  Journaling reads: At the City Museum in St. Louis, the girls couldn't wait to try out the "hamster wheel" (as Mara called it).  I thought Micah's comment was hilarious after Mara fell!".

Created using the collab kit called Just Sayin' by Sarah Sullivan and Tayler Mitchell at DHD.  Love the whole thing!

M3

Every month at DHD the designers each create a matching kit that all coordinates with each other using the same color swatch.  This month's collab is called "Inspired" and it's beautiful!  I love the colors....so soft and pretty.  This is the layout I created using some of the designer's kits.  My 3 girlies, photo taken back in January.  Based on a sketch, but I can't remember where I found it (sorry!!).
