....more Animal Kingdom...

Top layout...random pics from Festival of the Lion King.  This was my favorite show at AK, hands down.  It's nothing short of amazing.  Truly.

Middle layout...pics my girlies took.  I think they were a little slap happy and they were overly excited when Grandma Lillian mentioned getting ice cream after watching Festival of the Lion King.  Hence, the goofy pics!

Last layout....Pocahotness.  I mean, Pocahontas.  Sorry, that's what Steve kept calling her!  LOL!  Mostly everything on here is Stampin' Up.  She showed up right as we were finishing up our ice cream.

Animal Kingdom

Top layout is the girlies meeting Flik.  Non SU stuff on that one.  If you want to know where I got it, email me and I'll pass that info on to you.

Middle layout are just random pics taken during a parade at AK.  I used and alpha punch for the title and then used "color pick" to fill in the letters, using the colors from my photos!  Perfect match!  I used a circle from a stamp set to focus on the name of that particular parade.

Last layout are the girls in their uber cool 3D glasses for the It's Tough to be a Bug show at AK.  Super duper cute show that's housed in the bottom of the Tree of Life.  I asked the girls their favorite part of this experience and journaled it along the side.  Add some bug stamps and "word" bubble from Epic Overlays and it's complete!  This is probably one of my favorite layouts of my Disney album.

Princess Jasmine & Aladdin

See the theme today? :)  Top layout are random snapshots from Morocco from World Showcase @ Epcot. Items used on that layout are from another place on the internet.  You know the drill...if you want to know where I got it, email me.  Perfect papers and embellishments for those pictures.

Second layout are pics of my girlies with Princess Jasmine and Aladdin at World Showcase @ Epcot.  Premade clusters, "color pick" function used.

3rd layout is from the ride at Magic Kingdom!  Another premade cluster.

Hollywood Studios

One thing I'd like to mention...several of the pics I use in my Disney album aren't the greatest of quality.  But, as I was scrapping them, they still brought to mind the awesome moment that I had attempted to capture, so I scrapped them anyway.  This was probably the only biggest vacation we will ever take as a family, so I wanted every moment documented.  So, don't be discouraged if you have bad photos.  Scrap them anyway!  It's not about the greatest looking picture or greatest looking scrapbook page....it's about scrapping the memories!!

The Great Movie Ride was one of Mara's favorites.  She loved how the ride got hijacked half way thru by a gangster from a movie we were riding by.  I used a kit I got from another site.  If you're interested in where it came from, shoot me an email and I will let you know where i got it!

Muppetvision 3D....super cute.  I got a pic of Steve's Dad with his 3D glasses on, Mara acting like she was opening one of the doors, Lillian by the Muppets fountain and the last pic is Chef at the end of the show.  I think the kit I used on here was free from the internet, but not sure from where.

Last layout is just random pics from HS.  Once again, if you'd like to know where the stuff from this layout came from, email me.  I did use Tasteful Trims punches on here from Stampin' Up.

Animal Kingdom

Got some layouts from Animal Kingdom to show you today!

Top pic is of my 3 girlies outside the gates.  I used a pre made cluster that I got from another site on the internet.  Once again, if you feel you must have it, email me and I will gladly let you know where I got it from!  I also used an overlay from Stampin' Up.  Again, overlays rock, so if you are on the fence about getting a set, jump on over and just get them!  I want every single set that SU has to offer.  It just adds a little bit of something to your pages.

Second layout is of just random pics from AK.  I used Juntos DSP from SU and an awesome stamp set, a label punch and photo corner punch.

Lastly, pics from the Kilamanjaro Safari.  Tip: ride this in the am.  The animals are more active in the morning than they are in the afternoon.  Don't know why, they just are.  I thought I got some awesome pics of this ride!  It's SU DSP I used, but I can't remember the name.  Really, in the whole scheme of things, does it really matter?  There is not one thing I've bought for my My Digital Studio that I have ever regretted getting.  There will come a time when you will use it and be so glad you got it!  So, the solution to that is.....get it all! :)

Princesses

\

Yes, I know i already showed the Sleeping Beauty layout, but I'm showing it again! :)  These were the 3 princesses we got to meet while we were at Magic Kingdom.  It amazes me how in character everyone was, which totally adds to the magic of Disney.

Meeting Belle and Meeting Ariel were made from free kits I got somewhere.  Forgive me for not knowing where.  I can't even tell you the name of them.  But, it is absolutely unreal the amount of free stuff you can find out on the internet.  Sleeping Beauty is from And the Story Begins by Amy Teets Designs (just in case you missed it in the original post).

Peter Pan and Pixie Hollow

The layouts with Vidia and Tinkerbell were done with pre made clusters that I got from another site on the internet.  If you're interested in where I got them, feel free to email me and I will be glad to tell you where I got them!

I used my second favorite tool to create the pixie layouts....COLOR PICK!  Instead of trying to find SU colors that matched the premade clusters, I used the color pick options and used colors that were in the clusters!  Easy peasy!  I used a stamp set on the Vidia layout, but I can't remember what it was.  I went to the "add stamp" option and typed in "flourish" and scrolled thru until I found one that I wanted.  On the Tink layout I used an overlay, but I can't remember which one.  I know, I'm such a loser!!  LOL!  I love overlays, though.  They are awesome to spruce up just a plain cardstock background.  And, last but not least, for the Peter Pan layout I used Simple Snapshots and matching embellishments, baker's twine and some buttons.

Disney layouts!

Well, evidently I'm only showing you two layouts today.  I tried uploading more, but for some reason blogger wasn't liking them.  The top one is my girlies in front of  Cinderella's castle at Magic Kingdom.  I used a ready made cluster and the Disney ears are from another site on the internet.  If you wish to know where I got them, feel free to email me.  I also used an overlay from Stampin' Up, but for the life of me can't remember what it's called!  Shame on me, I know!

The second layout is of my girlies at Epcot.  Steve made them sit there until a monorail came thru and I could get the photo with the monorail and Epcot ball all in the background.  Everything on this layout is from another site.

Our Awesome Disney Vacation!

Yes, it's finished!  Our Disney vacation album is completed...and just in time for the 31% discount that Stampin' Up is offering the month of August!  I'm gonna need all the discounts I can get to print off this 94 page book.  But, I'm so excited to get it in my hands because it's going to be AWESOME!!!

On this layout I used Grad Party DSP and matching embellishments, an oval, label, word window and photo corner punches, a button from Deck the Halls, Baker's Twine, staples and the Mickey ear stamp with the date is a digital download I purchased from another site.  If you like it, please email me (my email address is on the right hand side of the screen) and I will tell you where I got it.  Fonts are Walt Disney and Mickey, free from the internet (just do a google search for them because i can't remember where I downloaded them from!)

Meeting Sleeping Beauty

Well, I guess I should start posting layouts from my completed Disney album from our family vacation in November 2011!  I'll start out with this one since I've been currently showcasing layouts featuring kits from Amy Teets Designs, whom I create for!  I thought this kit was perfect for the pictures of the girls meeting Sleeping Beauty!  This kit is found at A Cherry On Top!

The doily is from MDS and the shadow Sleeping Beauty was a free download from somewhere on the net.  Forgive me for not knowing where!!

Halloween 2011

I've had an itch to scrap lately and had some new digi kits to play with from Amy Teets Designs, so I played!!  This is a new Halloween kit from Amy found at A Cherry On Top called "Shabby Hallow".....LOVE IT!

Mara was Samara from "The Ring" last year.  The costume was a hit.  She won scariest costume at school, too.  Should I be worried that for the last several years she's been something dead?!?!  lol....

First day of school!!

Last Thursday was the first day of school for my girlies!  They are all at the middle school now...5th, 6th, and 7th grade!  Here's a digi layout I created using the kit "Midterm" from Amy Teets Designs found at A Cherry On Top!  I design for Amy and her kits are amazing!!  So, I got this sweet kit for FREE to play with!  Can you say AWESOME?!?!?  :)

Oh, and I used my absolute favorite tool in MDS....insert duplicate page and almost instantly created 2 more layouts!  I swapped out the picture of each girl by herself.  WooHoo!!

Back to posting stuff....

Here's my first project to show off after taking the last 3 months off from posting scrappy stuff!!

Remember the "RAWR" layout I did with Mara and Ollie and I mentioned that I was applying for a creative team with a digi designer?  Well, I got the position!  This is a layout I created using a kit called "And the Story Begins" by Amy Teets Designs that you can find at A Cherry On Top!  Absolutely everything on here is from that amazing kit, except the "m" and "t".  That is an alpha punch from SU that I filled in with pattern paper from the kit.  The pic is of Mara that I took back in April.
