Here's the latest sketch from LCTS!  Fabulous, isn't it?!  I haven't had a chance to work with it, but thought I'd post it so you could see it and be inspired to create!

Miles of Smiles

Awww, Micah looks like such a baby in these pictures!  So sweet!

I used Eggceptional Easter DSP, Burst punch (from Piece of Cake), Tasteful Trim shape 2 border punch, flag punch, sewing, rhinestones, Limited Edition Tag and butterfly, buttons and Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon. See, it doesn't have to be Easter to use the Eggceptional Easter DSP!!

Growing Up

LMAO!  I was going thru pictures that Steve had on his hard drive and came across these beauties.  Evidently one of the girls had the camera and he was hammin' it up for them.  I have no idea when these were taken, but they're awesome.

I used DSP, stamps, and embellishments from Piece of Cake (SAB), star punch, and an alphabet punch.

Stitch by Stitch

Bless her heart!  I had to scrapbook this, even though McKenna is going to kill me for doing so.  I couldn't remember what year this was...2010? (I know, HORRIBLE mother!!) but it happened when Tiffany and I were at Stampin' Up Regionals in Cincinnati.  McKenna was playing around on one of the barstools and she flipped over it with the barstool landing on her face.  One of her teeth cut all the way thru her lip.  Normally, they don't stitch up lip cuts anymore, but hers was in too bad of shape and she ended up getting 13 stitches, inside and out!  I have to say, even though I wasn't there for this, Steve thought to get pictures for me!  Sweet....or morbid? ;)

I used the Day in the Life DSP and embellishments; scallop circle punch & Alphabet Soup alpha punches; sewing, black & red brads.

U Rock!

Well, it's Friday and that means it's sketch reveal day at LCTS!  This is Team B's week to create, so I didn't have to (but I usually do anyway!), but just didn't have time to work on this one, but I'll be glad to show you the gorgeous sketch by Natalie!

I am, however, still going to show you a layout today!  I went to Crop for the Cure last Saturday and managed to crank out 7 MDS layouts!  Here's one of them!

Pattern papers look familiar?  Yep, the Number One kit used yet again.  I really really like that kit.  Proof you can use a boy-ish looking kit for girls!  Pics are of Micah climbing a rock wall while on vacay in Gatlinburg a couple of years ago.  I used the Number One kit and digi tape, Celebrations pennants and Daring Adventure stamp brush sets, sewing and the title is Alphabet Soup punches.

Peanut Butter Lovin' Pooches

Do you know what day it is?  New sketch Friday at LCTS!  But, you knew that already, right?!?! ;)

Here's the wonderful sketch I got to play with created by JJ:

And here's my layout!

Aren't my "boys" so stinkin' CUTE?!  Do you see that huge glob of pb on Toby's nose?  Yep, dead give away as to where Mara's bowl of peanut butter went to!

I used the Number One DSP, tag, and digital tape (LOVE!), grosgrain ribbon knot, and the two dog stamps are from the set Man's Best Friend (I think it was created just for my "boys"!  It matches them perfectly!), Vintage Trinkets and Baker's Twine.  TaDa!!

You know the routine....scrap a layout using the sketch and then go to the LCTS blog and link it up so we can see your fine creations!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific weekend!

Flower Child

Another layout from my Sunday afternoon of scrappin'.  Pics are from the Kimball Christmas Party in 2009.  She loved the clowns that were making balloon animals and had them make her a flower, which she just adored. I tried to take pics of her and that darn balloon flower, but she wouldn't stop playing around as normal!

I used Berry Blossoms DSP, black stitching, white stitching, staples, Perfect label punch, Flag punch and a PageMaps sketch.

Sports

Just a couple of 12x12 pages I did to go along with some traditionally scrapped layouts.  I always get a 5x7 team picture and a 4x6 picture of the girl by herself for each sport and scrap that on specialty sports themed pattern paper.  I happened to have some extra pics of the sport, so I just decided what pics I wanted and drag and dropped them into ready made layouts in MDS.  Northeast Dubois colors are royal blue (retired Brilliant Blue was a PERFECT match!) and white.  MDS doesn't have the option of Brilliant Blue as a cardstock, but it is a color.  So, in order to get that as my background, I picked a square punch and covered the 12x12 with it and color filled it with Brilliant Blue and then "moved it all the way to the back".  I added a few stamps from Extreme Elements in the corners and I was done.  A perfect layout to compliment the professional photos!

Here's one of Mara playing basketball last year in 5th grade:

And one of Mara playing volleyball last year in the 5th grade as well:

Twitterpated

I just love the name of that new Stampin' Up collection.  It's what I used to create this layout of my little niece, Avery Claire.  The picture was taken Easter Sunday 2010, so she wasn't very old...3-4 months old.  I just love babies around that age.  They are so fat and squeezable!  She was takin' a little snooze on my bed so I decided to sneak in and take some pics of her.

Everything I used is from the Twitterpated kit + some rhinestones and the flourish from the Baroque Motifs stamp brush set, Vintage Overlays, Labels Collection 1 (punch), and Vintage Adornment Flower, and a PageMaps sketch.
