Asher's New Ride!

Ever get tired of scrapping your own kids?  Well, I have recently!  LOL  Thank goodness I've got nieces and nephews I can scrap!  I would eventually have to scrap these photos anyway, so I'm just getting a head start on 'em!

This was made using a DHD kit by October Dawn called Pizza Mia.  Yes, to look at it screams Italian, Pizza, etc, but I thought it was perfect for these pics of Asher getting his motorcycle for Christmas a couple of years ago.  Everything is from the kit except the motorcycle stamp.  That's SU! :)

Here's some Valentine's Day cards for ya!  There was a card contest over at DHD last week and these are the cards I created using various kits from the store.  I'll post half of them today and the other half tomorrow.

Snow Day!

Well, I goofed again!  My very first 4Play that I hosted at DHD was yesterday.  It was originally scheduled for Feb 16 but got moved up.  Which was great!  Everything was ready....except I forgot to move my scheduled post for my blog! :(

This pic was taken from my living room window the second snow day of the year.  The girls literally stayed downstairs all day dancing!  It was great to hear them getting along so well.

Anyway, I love the stuff i picked out for the 4Play kit.  Even if you don't get the deal on them you should still go pick 'em up cause they're stinkin' cute!!

Over at DHD we have what's called 1Kit Many Ways.  This 1KMW is brought to you by a new designer, Mary Moseley and her debut kit, Reminisce!

This kit is AMAZING!!  Can't decide between which colors to choose from?  GET ALL 3 with the Mega Kit!  It won't disappoint, promise!

I absolutely LOVE the Country Mouse embellies.  I've used them over and over on different layouts.  They are so full of scrappy goodness!!  And with the recolor option in MDS the possibilities are endless!!

On Jan 21 over at DHD, they had a 4Play Challenge.  A Decorator chooses 4 items and 3 of them are $1 and one is FREE!  But, you have to get them the day the challenge is posted for the special price!!  Create a layout with only those items in the kits and post in the DHD gallery and it just may be picked to win a $5 gift certificate to the store!  Who doesn't love free stuff?!  Here's the challenge by Jessica:

Bracket Love

I just have to say, I love being on a design team!  Sure, I get to play with some awesome stuff which is a total perk, don't get me wrong, but it also makes me have to actually sit down and scrap!  Helps me get caught up  just a little bit.....

Over at DHD, there is a talented, new template designer!  I got the privilege of working with one of her templates this week.

And here's what I did with it!

Used the same stuff I used in the prev post.  There are so many different papers in the Sweet Avery paper kit to choose from and a TON of embellishments in the Country Mouse kit, it's unreal!!

Have a great weekend!  I'll be headed to Indianapolis for a super huge cheer competition with Micah!

Great news!  I made the Design Team over at Design House Digital!  WooHoo!  Wonderful group of women and some really talented designers that I have already had the honor of working with some of their awesome stuff.  Here is a layout I created for this weeks 4Play Challenge.

Pics are of my adorable little niece, Avery taken back in 2011.  I used papers from Sweet Avery (how fitting, right?!) by Sarah Sullivan, embellishments from She's Just a Country Mouse by October Dawn, Vintage Photo Frames from Vanessa Fenton, and Scallop Edge Dates stamp by Diane Rooney.

My adorable little niece talked all big before Christmas saying she wasn't afraid of Santa Claus.  Then, when he made an appearance during Christmas Eve she wouldn't go near him!  So cute!!

Used an old DSP and labels that came with the original MDS called Christmas Jingle.  Border punch, buttons, baker's twine, seam binding bow, glimmer brads, tape, mis-stitched stitches.
