You are NOT going to believe this....

...ya know the yard sale I was getting ready for? Sweated my arse off for 2 days setting up for? Yeah, that one. I didn't even break $100. Yep, you read that right. Total bust. We're going to give it another go in September/October. WTH?! Did I just type that?! I hate yard sales and I'm going to have yet another one?! I'm on crack. Must be. No other way to explain it.

Steve says blogs that have pictures are more interesting than blogs without. So, let me see if I can drum something up to make my blog interesting.....
Ok, a portrait of a girl who became a nun. Because of the habit they had to wear back then, long hair was impossible to maintain, so she had it all cut off. The family had her hair woven into this intricate, beautiful "thing" for lack of a better word. I also took a close up so you could see the detail. Amazing. And yet, a little creepy. I took this picture when we toured St. Benedict's. Hope this is interesting enough! ;)

Yeah, I am thinking that is a little creepy, too. At first I thought it was some type of embroidery, which it is... BUT WITH HAIR?? YIKERS!

I am with Nicole on this one...CREEPY!!!! But at first glance I thought it was something yucky like some kind of bugs or a hive. With your title and that first picture all I could think of was the scare you had a while back with that BUG!!!!!

You did better than I did Saturday. I only made $40, but Friday it was $250. Isn't that odd? I think it was because the weather was like a stinkin' sauna outside! Cool pic. It is weird!

that sucks that you didn't make what you should have for all the work you did... :( That 'thing' is cool and creepy all right!

dude. that hair made me want to gag. ew. that's like the lady my housekeeper told me about who wove a sweater for her husband out of their dog's hair. some things just should never be done with hair.

No one seems to be having luck with yard sales lately, bummer.

And that's really cool yet weird. I'm glad it's behind glass :)
